●Product Description:
This award-winning orange marmalade is handmade in small batches on a family-run farm in Mevagissey, Cornwall, using a fine to medium cut of peel and slow-cooked to a traditional recipe. With its bright, refreshing citrus flavour and well-balanced tang, it is made without added pectin or artificial preservatives and is perfect with tea cakes, toast and scones, offering a true taste of Cornwall.
●Brand Description:
The brand began as a family-run fruit farm founded in 1946 in Mevagissey, Cornwall, in south-west England. Since its founding, and now over four generations, the family has been committed to delivering the natural taste of fruit, carrying out every step in-house from growing the fruit to producing the finished products. In 2001, the third generation, Louise, began selling her homemade strawberry jam at the farm shop, where it quickly became popular and sold out. This success led to the launch of full-scale handmade jam production. Many of the products have since won Gold awards at prestigious competitions such as the Great Taste Awards and the Farm Shop & Deli Awards, and the brand has grown to be stocked by premium food retailers, hotels and restaurants both in the UK and overseas.
