This is a traditional British-style back bacon, carefully dry cured and finished without smoking. Made from the back cut of pork, it is characterised by its tender texture and gently sweet fat. As it is unsmoked, the natural flavour of the pork and its clean, well-balanced saltiness stand out, making it ideal not only for a classic breakfast plate, but also for sandwiches, quiches and pasta dishes.

Located near Maldon in Essex, England, this family-run farm and meat producer follows a true “Field to Fork” philosophy, carrying out every stage in-house, from growing grain and raising pigs to processing the meat. Wheat and barley grown on their own farm are used as feed, and the pigs are raised in spacious straw-bedded yards in a healthy, low-stress environment. All processing takes place in their on-site butchery, where skilled craftsmen apply traditional dry curing by hand and carefully smoke selected products using beechwood chips. For over 50 years, Wicks Manor has upheld British tradition and quality as a premium British pork brand.
